Step outside - it's morning by Kraden Step outside - it's morning by Kraden

You've just spent the night out. The music is still running through your veins and the tastes, the smells, the memories are still flowing through you.
It's time to go home though.
You step out side and are greeted by the cool light of a morning sunrise.
You take a breath.
Time to collect yourself.
Take in the world around you, the dew on the grass, the cool crisp breeze still carrying the hint of the night that just past.

Come step outside.
It's morning.

I love that feeling.
It's like love...just cooler and with a slight breeze.

Actually made this as an image for my site's mainbanner.
I think the minimalistic color scheme worked a treat.
Enjoy!
We'll share a night out sometime.

A very cool picture. The minimalistic color scheme could represent how a day that is just beginning is like a picture just being painted: so many possibilities!

Kinda makes you stand out when all the other tossers are dressed punk & RNB & glare at you....meh stuff em WOO!

That's got to suck, it's not hard to find any raves up here, though most of them get boring after a bit....

Heh, standing out is great, there's not a single damn problem with that. :boogie:

I had a ball putting this one together.

Took about 3 days and BOY did that background and pose take a while to put in.

But my tablets makes Sky scenes really easy.
Now I just gotta improve on neatness...and some Chibi\toon pics 8p

No, but you can do CG very well.
Backgrounds take alot of work and I don't put NEARLY ehough in.
I mean this one took me 4 hours or so to get right.
And it's a simple BG...gack ^.-

Wow I love it Kraden The sun shinnig down effect (By the way how did you creat the effect with the sun?) your coloring scheme and the highlights oh and the eyes shinning I mean god its beautiful!

The sunshine effect was origionaly drawn into the sky (Background).
After drawing up and doing a small shade job on the scaffolding I added another lighting layer for the yellow\white of the sunlight (the origional file was in full color and shade).
I then finished off the character (Echo) and added a new layer over the top of them all calles 'sunglare'.
The sunglare was made by painting in very bright yellow (almost white) with a setting of about 20% opacity & 50% flow with a fluffy brush (not a solid outline).
Fopr some reason the turned down flow and opacity on a fuzzy brush work best for light effects.
I just painted it over the scaffolding concentrating on the areas that the sun would pass through instead of the light that shines over the scaffolding...if that makes sense :O_o:

It's prettymuch the same technique that I use to great the glow from glowsticks and do delicate lighting.
I first did it in that 1 page comic somehwere in my gallery for the city lights...worked well so I used it again for the 'Freedom of life - dance' picture.
And again for the lighting of the fog in the 'Dance into the fire picture' <- in this one I did it once for the glowstick, painted in the fog over it, and then re-did the lighting giving it a nice ammount of depth too :D

Hope that helped.
I do have a tutorial page in my gallery somewhere too I beleive for that lighting effect.

Haah and to imagine just by using only a combinations of blue it gives an early moring feel, then agian I guess red and orange make sunset, but NEways awsome and in depth pic youve done here.

Well I origionaly did the picture in complete color and shade of an early morning.
The blue was a color based overlay with tweaks and some green for the eye for focus.
I think it worked better this way :D
