Literature Text

"Our life is a shoreline, an endless expanse of sand. We all travel along this road between the ocean and the rock, to do so is to live in the freedom of the wind and sun and waves.
We met and walked together a while, you and I.
But you're not walking any more. You lay yourself between the small dunes and stare at the ocean and wait.
I wait with you and I see others travel by. Time passes. Life passes, the beach moving around us in an endless flow.
We have no language in this place, no lvoice to talk for the heart. So I can only walk around you, nudging, encouraging, watching...hoping.
Who are you waiting for? Can't we walk together a while longer?
Because if you can't walk I eventually will...and leaving you to wait for that which will never come will hurt me more than anything else I've ever done, later in time  I would stop and look back along the endless beach and wonder if you are still waiting, if you'll ever live.
Fate shifts in the grains around our legs, yet you sit in the dunes. I cannot leave you wihtout a destiny yet.
So I wait with you a while longer...while the seas and sands pass us by....and hope"
*Updated thanks to ~crossblades08 wonderful critique*

Looking at one of *DraconicaNimbus's deviations reminded me of an image that came to my mind when I thought about life and how one meets people. And those that seem to hold themselves out of life's stream and wait for something. Who seem to wait closed in their own shells and never live.
How much it hurt to try and live with them

Now I'm not being Emo here it's just an interesting image I thought I might share.

Similar to my 'growing' up image but a few months earlier.
